Ebb & Grow
For our 10th edition of SOAP, we’re coming together to talk about the real stuff. The growth, the grit, and the inevitable ebbs and flows of running a creative life.
This panel will bring four creative powerhouses to the stage, each carving bold paths in business and creativity. From launching family-owned brands to building design studios, crafting standout voices, and creating platforms for artists, they’ve all experienced the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
You’ll hear honest conversations about starting, scaling, shifting, and redefining what success looks like. Whether you’re just beginning, expanding, or navigating change, this night is designed to spark reflection, connection, and insight into the creative path.
Our panel includes Harriet Messenger, Head of Brands and Co-Founder at Ink Gin and Husk Rum; Alyce Greer, Director and Head Writer of Bossy. Copywriting; and Libby Brady, Co-Founder of Mosh Joinery and Mosh Home. In guided conversation with Sarah Miller, Co-Founder of We Sell Prints and ALOW Gallery, they’ll open up about what it really takes to grow something meaningful; the dreams achieved, the opportunities lost, the sacrifices made, and the inevitable ebbs and flows that come with running a creative life or business.
Hosted in Sun House Studio, a light-filled and design-led space by Marissa Bowden (co-founder of The Village Markets), you’ll be surrounded by the same spirit of connection and creativity that SOAP was built on. Expect an evening of storytelling, honest reflection, and practical insights that will leave you inspired, reassured, and ready to tackle your own next chapter.
While you’re there, enjoy nibbles, drinks from our generous sponsors Konpira Maru, Balter, and Ink Gin, and the chance to win from a huge line-up of raffle prizes donated by our creative community. From studio hire to design resources, merch, and craft spirits, the more you pay on your ticket, the more chances you have to take something home.

Harriet Messenger / @ink_gin
Harriet is the Head of Brands and Co-Founder at Ink Gin and Husk Rum, blending creativity with strategy to shape two of Australia’s leading craft spirit brands. With over a decade growing the family-owned Husk Farm Distillery, she channels the passion behind every bottle into bold, authentic storytelling. Under her leadership, Ink Gin has become Australia’s #1 independent gin brand, while Husk Rum is redefining premium Australian rum with its farm-to-bottle process and subtropical ageing.
PANELLIST
Alyce Greer / @bossy.copywriting
Alyce has been a writer forever, and a paid writer for 15 years. In 2016, she barged her way into copywriting, bringing her witty, conversational and, at times, smartass writing style with her. As the Director + Head Writer of Bossy. Copywriting — a creative copywriting studio and school — she now splits her time between crafting bold brand voices and copy, teaching her DIY courses (Bossy. Copy College and Bossy. Business School) and forgetting which notebook she's scribbled in.
PANELLIST
Libby Brady / @mosh_home
Libby Brady a journalist turned entrepreneur who left her career in media and communications to help transform her family business. At Mosh Joinery, she built a talented design team to expand the studio’s creative capabilities, and recently launched Mosh Home, now a recognised interior design studio featured in The Design Files and beyond. As both a creative professional and mother, Libby is passionate about supporting others navigating career transitions, small business ownership, and the evolving landscape of creative work.
PANEL MODERATOR
Sarah Miller / @wesellprints
Sarah Miller is the co-owner of We Sell Prints and ALOW Gallery, two Gold Coast-based ventures dedicated to empowering artists and bringing art into people’s lives. With a background in design and over 15 years in the creative industry, Sarah has grown her business from a boutique print studio into a trusted partner for artists across Australia. She is passionate about challenging the “starving artist” stereotype, helping creatives balance passion with business, and fostering spaces where art thrives.
